How we Connect to our Community

By June 21, 2022August 29th, 2022Agency News

One of our Agency’s business pillars is creating trusted and long-lasting relationships. We find it imperative to participate in activities that further connect us to our community. Not only does community service help the community, but it can truly make a long-lasting impact on someone’s life.

In this blog, we will show you what we have done and perhaps spark ideas for you on how to get involved in your local community.

How Satanoff Has Given Back

1. Ride for Kids

The Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation hosts Ride for Kids events across various locations to fundraise for a change.

Our agency aided in setting up along with other activities throughout the day. We managed different games, staffed auctions, and ran food tables to ensure the event was a success.

Fundraising proceeds from Ride for Kids events help fund research, support programs, and emergency financial assistance. You can donate here and assist in fueling the search for a cure and caring for survivors and families.

2. Radnor Library Readings

Seeing the smile on a kid’s face when you read to them is one of the most rewarding feelings volunteering provides. Promoting reading aids in a child’s future success and demonstrates that reading can be fun and enjoyable.

One of our agents, Maria, was a guest reader at the Radnor Library twice. It served as a great opportunity to endorse reading to local children, and we even made take-home crafts with the kids to offer further enrichment.

3. Bear Affair

In 2021, our agency was a proud sponsor of the Bear Affair for the Philadelphia Children’s Alliance. The event was a virtual auction fundraiser to raise funds for the work PCA does to ensure the Philadelphia area child victims of sexual abuse get the care and justice that they need.

4. Radnor Fall Fest

Annually the Wayne Business Associate hosts the Radnor Fall Fest to promote business, professionalism, and civic interests for generations of families to come. Our team was one of the lucky vendors at the event and offered fun activities like corn hole and an opportunity to win a signed Penn State football. We believe enriching the community through events helps in promoting success for everyone.

5. Teachers’ Teammates

What is a scientist without a lab or an artist without a canvas? On average, in the United States, teachers will spend the equivalent of one check to purchase the essentials needed in the classroom.

Having access to the right supplies can assist in achieving educational success for the children in our community. We participated in a school supply drive in the Delaware County area to help teachers and students have tools to succeed.

6. One Warm Coat

Many of us take for granted the warmth a coat provides in winter weather, but the reality is that many children, adults, and families go without a coat annually.

Our agency participated in the One Warm Coat drive and worked to collect almost 100 coats, gloves, hats, and mittens for the local organization “In His Eyes Outreach.”

One coat can change the life of one person. Click here to see where you can donate to help your community stay warm.

Making a Difference
